Drill and insert screws

Once your security door is in place, pre-drill the hole in the center of the slotted part of the top hinge and insert the 25mm screw. Repeat the same for the bottom hinge. Remove the shims and swing the door to ensure if it’s smooth. Check if there’s sufficient clearance on all sides. Then, drill and insert screws in the remaining slots.

Install the locking system

Now, it’s time to install the locking system. Install the locking system to your exterior security door, and check if it’s functioning efficiently. Try locking the door and check that the hook bolt cannot be disengaged with the levers. Determine the location of the striker plate, mark, drill, and insert the screws.
